As you would expect, Valstar, too, is assigning the highest priority to its policy concerning the coronavirus. In doing so, we are focusing on the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers and other business associates.
We are taking all the necessary precautionary measures, including the minimising of direct contact. Our office is operating with the minimum number of staff required, who are in turn being supported in their efforts by colleagues working from home. The warehouse facilities are accessible only to warehouse personnel. Guidelines regarding hygiene have been tightened and physical contact between colleagues is being minimised. We have also cancelled visits from and to customers and suppliers until further notice.
We have a team dedicated to the daily monitoring of developments concerning the coronavirus. In doing so, we are committed to complying completely with the government's guidelines in this matter.
As far as we can, we are doing everything possible to keep providing our services at an acceptable level and to keep fulfilling our role as a chain partner in the food industry as well as possible.
Nevertheless, should circumstances result in our being unable to provide our services at the desired level, we will immediately inform our customers and suppliers about this and ask for your understanding in such a case.
After all, this is an exceptional situation. We wish everyone the strength to get through this crisis and we hope that everyone recovers from it soon.
